Rooted in Truth

Why TRUTH Matters

In a world full of changing opinions, competing voices, and constant noise, we need something we can build our lives on.

God’s Word gives us a steady foundation. It helps us know what is true, understand who God has created us to be, and navigate the everyday decisions, challenges, and relationships that shape our lives.

Being rooted in truth isn’t about simply knowing what the Bible says. It’s about allowing God’s truth to take root in our hearts, shape the way we think, guide the way we live, and transform the way we love and serve others.

Know the Truth

We take time to know and understand God’s Word—not simply as information to learn, but as truth that shapes what we believe and how we see the world.

Grow the Truth

As we spend time in God’s Word, our faith grows. His truth develops wisdom, shapes our character, and helps us become more like Christ.

Live the Truth

God’s Word isn’t meant to stay on the page. We put truth into practice as it shapes our choices, our relationships, our families, and the way we live each day.

Growing Beyond the Basics

Seeds are where growth begins—but healthy plants need deep roots.

We believe children can begin engaging with meaningful biblical truth from a young age. As they grow, we want to help them move beyond simply knowing Bible stories to understanding the bigger truths found throughout Scripture.

Rooted in Truth resources are designed to help families:

  • 📖 Know God’s Word

  • 🌱 Understand biblical truth

  • 💬 Ask meaningful questions

  • ❤️ Connect truth to everyday life

  • 🙏 Grow in faith and obedience

Our goal isn't simply to give children more information.

It's to help truth take root.

THE FAMILY CONNECTION

Faith grows best when it becomes part of everyday life.

Because faith isn't just something we learn. It's something we live together.

Our families are one of the most natural places for faith to take root. The everyday moments—mealtimes, car rides, conversations, challenges, celebrations, and quiet moments together—can all become opportunities to point one another toward God's truth.

These resources are more than something to download and check off your list.

The Bible studies, devotionals, Scripture tools, and family resources you find here are designed to be starting points for something deeper.

A devotional can spark a conversation. A Bible study can lead to a deeper understanding of Scripture. A simple activity can create an opportunity to ask questions, share what you're learning, and connect God's Word to everyday life.

Our goal isn't simply to give you more things to do. It's to provide tools that help you slow down, engage with God's Word, and create meaningful moments of growth—both personally and within your family.

Use these resources as they are, make them your own, or let them inspire something new. The resource is the starting point. The growth is what matters.

Growing Deep in God’s Word

This collection is just the beginning.

Rooted in Truth is a growing collection of Scripture-centered resources designed to help children and families dig deeper into God’s Word and build a faith that is firmly grounded in biblical truth.

We're continuing to create Scripture-centered resources that help children discover God's Word, ask meaningful questions, and grow in their understanding of who God is.

Come back often—there's always something new growing at Homegrown Disciples.
